Complete Your Undergraduate Degree through Marist in Florence, Italy

Marist’s Florence, Italy branch campus provides the only four-year U.S. Bachelor’s degree program located in Florence, Italy. Students can choose from eight majors, including Bachelor’s of Fine Arts with a concentration in Art History. Courses at the Lorenzo de Medici Institute are taught by international faculty in English. Students are expected to take Marist’s recognized core-curriculum, which is designed to develop undergraduate students’ critical thinking, writing, and communication skills, as well as their major specific courses. This provides undergraduate students with a balanced education, preparing them to continue their education or pursue a professional career upon graduation. Marist’s Florence campus additionally provides students with a well-rounded student life experience focused around a wide range of student clubs and societies, organized cultural events, field trips, and site visits. Library and Computer facilities are also available to students on the Lorenzo de Medici campus.

Note: A minimum of 90 credits in Liberal Arts is required.

The Marist-LdM program is the only four-year U.S. bachelor's degree program in Florence, Italy. B.A. in Art History courses are taught in English by international faculty. While at university, in addition to taking focused classes related to the Art History major, undergraduate students will begin taking courses in Marist College’s recognized core-curriculum designed to develop undergraduate students’ critical thinking, writing, and communication skills.
